MUNICIPAL
WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY
SESANA uses an innovative, natural and respectful of the environment solution to make your treatment facility even more eco-friendly and cost-effective. Although we don’t see them, microorganisms (bacteria) are already an integral part of our everyday life and possess unexpected until now qualities.
Our process uses the specific virtues of selected bacteria groups to rapidly and efficiently digest muds. These bacteria already present in our soils have, by their combined action, a high performing synergistic effect on wastewaters.
These bacteria have the ability to quickly develop at temperatures between -40°C and 40°C, as well as in oxygenated or oxygen-free environments.
Once injected, bacteria rapidly digest the organic matter and a part of the inorganic matter of the muds to turn it into water and gas.
Thanks to the use of our treatments,
you’ll be able to digest 50 to 70 % of your muds right at the source.

- Analysis and evaluation of the actual state of your ponds as well as the quality of its effluent
- Elaboration and presentation of a treatment plan that can easily be adapted to your budget
- Coordination and management of measurements, samplings and muds’ analysis made by drone
- Elaboration of dosing procedures
- Application of products
- Technical support and monitoring
- Production of a performance report at the end of each treatment
- Significant reduction of odours coming from ponds, pumping plants or the sewage system without using chemicals or other products
- Improvement of the effluent quality
- Direct and indirect reduction of greenhouse gases (use of a dredge, a process unit with chemicals, excavators, heavy duty trucks for the transportation of the equipment and the muds).
- Improvement of the muds’ quality (agricultural valorisation)
- Significant reduction of muds disposal related costs
- Reduction of energy, purchase of chemicals, equipment maintenance and replacement costs
- Increase of your plant’s processing capacity without the need for expanding
- Maximal reduction in frequency of the muds pumping, dehydration and disposal in landfill sites or on farmlands
- Reduction of the time spent managing the water-treatment plant (inventory of products management, equipment maintenance and replacement, etc.)
