SESANA, which means « to heal yourself » in latin, was born in 2022.
Previously known under the name of CGEI, SESANA, a Quebec company, is the result of the acquired expertise in the wastewater and the environment fields through the last seven years.
After numerous experimentations and strict analysis, CGEI developed an innovative process combining biotechnology and engineering.
In 2018, CGEI had the opportunity to conduct a pilot project at the Notre-Dame-de-L’île-Perrot wastewater treatment facility in order to test this new revolutionary treatment. This pilot project was subsidized by the Green Municipal Fund (GMF) of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM). After 12 months of treatments and analysis, the results were convincing while confirming the treatment being performant as well as secure, eco-friendly and highly cost-effective.
Following this pilot project, CGEI began to offer his services and treatments to many municipalities throughout the province of Québec. As of today, more than 20 municipalities already used our microbiological treatments.
In 2022, SESANA is proud to offer two treatments on the market: SeptiSana et PurgaSana.
SeptiSana is especially adapted for residential and commercial septic tanks while PurgaSana is destined to municipal and industrial water treatment facilities.

OUR TEAM
Business executive since 2007 in the area of security, then in engineering, more precisely in wastewater treatment, it is in 2017, by total coïncidence that the world of biotechnology tug his heartstring: to contribute concretely to the planet’s future.
His involved and generous nature brought him to put all his efforts on this unique and wonderful mission which is to take part on elaborating new ecological solutions for our planet.
